One-on-one coaching for Gold Coast men who want more than a generic personal-training session.

These sessions are designed to help you move with greater confidence, improve your training quality and build a realistic plan around your current ability, goals and lifestyle.


You will receive direct coaching, practical feedback and clear next steps—not a punishment workout or a programme built around someone else’s standards.

Who this is for:
Gold Coast In-Person Coaching may be suitable for men who:

  • value face-to-face coaching and accountability

  • want to improve exercise technique and movement confidence

  • are returning to training after time away

  • feel uncertain or intimidated in the gym

  • have struggled to follow programmes consistently

  • want help creating a realistic training routine

  • need greater structure, feedback or accountability

  • want additional support before, during or after The Proof Reset

  • have specific strength, fitness or performance goals requiring closer coaching oversight
     

You do not need to be fit, experienced or confident before starting.

You do need to be willing to be coached honestly and begin at the training dose your current evidence supports.


Single coaching session:
Your 60-minute session may include:

  • discussion of your goals, training history and current challenges

  • movement and exercise-technique review

  • real-time coaching and practical feedback

  • appropriate exercise regressions, progressions or substitutions

  • guidance around training structure, effort and recovery

  • clarification of your immediate priorities

  • a practical plan for what to do next

  • recommendation of the most appropriate Firehock pathway, where relevant
     

The purpose of the session is not to assess how much discomfort you can tolerate.

The purpose is to identify what will help you progress safely, effectively and consistently.

Three-session starter pack
The starter pack provides greater structure than a one-off appointment and allows coaching decisions to be reviewed across several sessions.

Session 1 — Assess and establish
We review:

  • your goals and training history

  • your current routine and consistency

  • movement confidence and foundational exercise patterns

  • appropriate training standards

  • your realistic weekly training capacity

  • your initial priorities

You leave with a clear starting point and practical focus areas.


Session 2 — Coach and refine
We focus on:

  • exercise setup and technique

  • load selection

  • RPE and RIR

  • movement regressions or progressions

  • common mistakes

  • routine and session structure

  • barriers affecting consistency

Your plan is refined according to how you responded to the first session.


Session 3 — Review and progress
We review:

  • improvements in movement and confidence

  • consistency between sessions

  • exercise progression

  • recovery and training response

  • remaining barriers

  • the most appropriate next training dose
     

You leave with clear recommendations for continuing independently or progressing into another Firehock coaching pathway.

Between-session direction:
Starter-pack clients receive simple focus points to apply between appointments.

These may include:

  • technique priorities

  • weekly training targets

  • walking or conditioning goals

  • recovery actions

  • exercise substitutions

  • accountability tasks

  • questions to monitor before the next session
     

This is not constant-access online coaching or a fully individualised long-term programme. Clients requiring ongoing programming, detailed monitoring or higher-touch support may be better suited to The Proof Reset, Gold Coast Hybrid Coaching or Premium 1:1 Coaching.

Your coaching dose:
Your coaching and exercise selection will be adjusted according to your:

  • safety and medical readiness

  • movement competency

  • training history

  • current consistency

  • strength and conditioning capacity

  • recovery ability

  • lifestyle demands

  • goals
     

You will not be pushed into greater intensity or complexity simply because you have trained before.

Your training dose is assigned according to what you can currently perform, recover from and repeat with quality.

Lower is not lesser. The right starting point is the fastest route to sustainable progress.


Important scope note:
In-person coaching provides exercise education, technique support and general health and fitness guidance.

It is not physiotherapy, medical assessment, injury diagnosis or clinical treatment.

Pain, concerning symptoms or needs outside the Firehock coaching scope may require clearance or support from an appropriately qualified health professional.
